Antonia Rodrian

Born in 1989, Antonia Rodrian graduated from the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf in 2017.In her figurative works, the painter gives autonomy to everyday objects. They interact freely, with no human being to dictate their behaviour.

The omnipresence of the object obviously underlines the absence of Man, and raises a number of questions about the work and its interpretation. In early 2024, following an exhibition at Kunst im Tunnel (Düsseldorf), Antonia Rodrian was selected for a residency in Istanbul.
