For the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, the artist duo Lek & Sowat had the opportunity to take over the roof of the indoor pool at the legendery Molitor swimming pool.
"For our work on the lower part of the glass roof of Molitor's indoor pool, we chose to draw our inspiration from the architecture of the building, and in particular the beauty and rhythm of its metal framework." - Lek & Sowat
In this way, Lek & Sowat transformed 500m2 of glass roof into stained glass windows. They used colours that echoed Molitor's emblematic yellow ocre, as well as a deep red that contrasts with the building's white structure and the blue of the sky.
